Dr. Kenneth A. Steingold
Dr. Kenneth A. Steingold founded the Fertility Institute of Virginia, Ltd. in 1991. Prior to this, Dr. Steingold was the Director of the In Vitro Fertilization Program at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals (MCV). After medical school and residency at MCV, Dr. Steingold served a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and an additional In Vitro Fertilization fellowship at the Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia.
Dr. Steingold is a well-known speaker and has published over 30 research papers and book chapters. He is board-certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology, a member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Richmond Academy of Medicine. He has consistently been selected Richmond’s #1 physician for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in Richmond Magazine’s “Top Docs” surveys.
Dr. Michael C. Edelstein
Dr. Michael C. Edelstein is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Reproductive Endocrinologist who has extensive experience in the medical and surgical aspects of reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and assisted reproductive technologies. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University. Dr. Edelstein received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Edelstein completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and then served a two-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk.
Dr. Edelstein is the author of numerous research papers, abstracts, and book chapters, and has lectured extensively on topics relating to infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He is a member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and is a perennial selection in Richmond Magazine’s “Top Docs” survey for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
